Pantone - color of the year

Thank goodness they've picked something a little more flattering than the bright orange two years ago and 2013 emerald is cool, but kinda boring, amiright?!!

Color of the year: Radiant Orchid

I could really appreciate a few shirts in this color... a hue that goes well with brunettes and blondes alike; also very nicely pairs with all skin tones.

Unfortunately my house is evolving into the blue, green, grey color scheme - so I don't see much use of radiant orchid as a rug or throw. 

How are you going to use Pantone's new color of the year in 2014?
